If it can effectively block things out, surely it can seal things in just as well. The pool water, for one, is sealed in because the cover significantly reduces the water evaporation rate therefore also significantly reducing the price amount printed on the pool owner’s water bill. The owner will not have to refill the pool too often. Moreover, re-heating the pool water often will also no longer be necessary because it can seal in the heat of the water too, which again will benefit the owner by reducing electricity bills from reheating the water.
Ideal the solid pool cover may seem, it still has its own drawbacks just as the others also have their own advantages and disadvantages. As was mentioned, its biggest advantage is that it provides complete coverage for your swimming pool. It will block out all sorts of debris that would otherwise blemish your perfect swimming pool. Furthermore, its sealing capability entails even more benefits for the pool owner aside from keeping the swimming pool clean.
Overlap length of the pool cover must be bigger than your pool's size. This way, you can safely anchor the pool cover without worrying that your pool is not covered completely.
