Pool covers are often referred to as ˝horizontal fences˝. Unlike conventional fences, pool covers do not isolate the pool deck or backyard, but only the water. A pool cover provides a strong barrier defense as a pool safety device. Various options are available without reducing water features, elevated walls, freeform design, or other pool features.
The decision to buy a swimming pool is taken with the idea of providing more opportunities to enjoy time at home spent swimming with family and friends. However while a swimming pool can provide hours of entertainment over the swimming season months, it also calls for continued maintenance and upkeep all year round. A pool cover can help reduce this maintenance and upkeep both in time and monetary outlay.
Generally they come in two varieties, and several types. As far as the two varieties go, there are the manual variety, which means you pull them by hand on and off the swimming pool, or there are the automatic variety that will unroll or remove by simply pressing a button. Motorized are far more expensive than their manual counterparts and will often require more extensive maintenance and upkeep.
